NOTE TO 4.x USERS: Users type "/dcc maxcps 0" anywhere in mIRC if you downloaded Polaris SE v4.x before January 8th 2009 (this applies to ALL v4.0 users and only users of 4.1 that downloaded it on January 7th). The DCC MAX CPS was set to 500 and it is changed now as of 6PM EST Jan 7th, if you don't change it to 0 it will cap your outgoing sends to 500 bytes which is extremely slow. You may also set it to 0 from the General Settings dialog under Min/Max CPS.
NOTE TO 4.1 users regarding MEDIA DISPLAYER (only applies if you downloaded v4.1 before January 8th 2009): If Media Displayer ever returns any error, type "/media.resetvars" anywhere in mIRC. This should fix any errors you receive and make the addon fully functional.
There are no more planned updates for 4.1 as it is a very stable final build, 4.2 will be under development. Enjoy!

FiSH for mIRC allows you to speak to other chatters via blowfish encryption, encryption has been popular on various chat protocols including irc networks, it basically obscures what you are saying to one another to 3rd parties. This can be used for fun or paranoia, having it loaded doesn't affect your ability to chat with others as the script will only use encryption if the other person has it loaded and asks for a key exchange. If you exchange personal or private data, it's a good idea to use. An example of using FiSH in a channel: before you do this make sure everyone has FiSH loaded, then make up a key for a channel and set it, give the other users the key via encrypted private message -- and then have them set the key for the channel and now you have an channel that speaks in encryption only. (pre-loaded)
